Maja Borek, a compassionate advocate for breastfeeding mothers with a mission to empower and support families on their breastfeeding journey. As a Certified Lactation Counselor (CLC) accredited through ALPP, Maja brings over six years of dedicated experience and more than 100 hours of lactation education to her practice. Currently pursuing further certification as an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC), with plans to sit for the exam September 2025.

Maja's passion for lactation support stems from her personal journey as a mother, where she faced challenges with low milk supply due to unintentionally making common mistakes. Nurturing her own daughter, she understands the joys and difficulties of breastfeeding firsthand.

As a Full-Time Lactation Counselor in a level 3 Infant Special Care Unit, she provides essential guidance and assistance to mothers and their newborns, ensuring they receive the support and care they need during this critical time. With a deep desire to prevent other mothers from experiencing similar challenges she has faced, Maja is dedicated to helping moms avoid common pitfalls and achieve successful breastfeeding journeys.

Beyond her professional role, Maja is deeply involved in community outreach and education. She actively creates educational content on social media and moderates a breastfeeding Facebook Group where she offers invaluable support and advice to new mothers navigating breastfeeding challenges and their postpartum journey. With her compassionate approach and wealth of knowledge, Maja is dedicated to empowering families with the tools and confidence to embrace the transformative journey of breastfeeding.
